Student Council is an organization that works for the entire student body. Our students are represented by elected representatives in all middle and high school grades (6-12) as well as 9th -12th grade class presidents and an overall elected slate of officers including President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

It is the purpose of the Student Council to plan and implement various functions and activities that help make school fun as well as engaging for students and faculty to promote a family atmosphere. Student Council sponsors a Back to School Blast-Off Party, bake sale, Pass the Buck breakfasts to support worthy causes within our community, Angel Tree community-wide Christmas charity, Middle/High School dances, Homecoming activities, and various Catholic School’s Week activities. Student Council also serves as a voice to administration for concerns and problem-solving within the school.

Through this organization, we try to give every student at St. John’s the opportunity to participate and excel in community service projects as well as participate in fun activities to increase school pride and unity.
