Sunday, Jan. 25: Celebrating with our Parish
Everyone is welcome to attend Sunday mass at 10:00 AM with the St. John's students! Afterwards, coffee, juice, donuts, and cinnamon rolls will be served.
Monday, Jan. 26: Pep Rally & Teacher Lunch
(8:00 AM - 8:45 AM) A pep rally will done to kickoff this years Catholic Schools Week! It will feature a Divine Mercy Chaplet led by Fr. Kieffer and a skit preformed by the St. John's senior class.
(12:00 PM- 1:00 PM) Teachers will get a break from students during lunch with the help of some awesome parent volunteers.
Tuesday, Jan. 27: Hamburger Feed
During lunch time, students will enjoy a Hamburger Feed that was graciously donated by Home & School and Student Council.
Wednesday, Jan. 28: Celebrating with our School and Community
(7:15 AM - 7:50 AM) A Pass-the-Buck Breakfast will be held for all students. Proceeds will go to the Heartbeat Pregnancy Center.
(1:00 PM) Middle/High school set up for Scholars' Bowl.
(1:30 PM) The High School League Scholars Bowl begins!
Thursdays, Jan. 29: Grandparents' Day
(8:00 AM - 9:15 AM) Classes will begin as normal. Grandparents are free to come and visit classrooms!
(9:30 AM) An all school mass with the Bishop begins.
(10:30 AM) Mrs. Kee will give a welcome, followed by coffee in the high school gym.
(10:30 AM - 11:15 AM) Grandparents' Day activities begin. These include bingo, board & card games, and a Prayer & Action video located in the gym.
(11:30 AM) We will begin to serve lunch to students and grandparents. This year we will be serving Chicken and Noodles!
(12:45 PM) Classes resume for students.
Friday, Jan. 30: No Uniform Day
This day will feature a No Uniform Day! Students and teachers will need to pay $1 before this day and an additional $1 to wear hats. The money raised for this will go the the Heartbeat Pregnancy Center.
(1:30 PM - 3:00) Teachers will compete in a basketball game.They will be coached by seniors, with juniors & sophomores as fans, and cheerleading by the freshmen. There will be student free throw contests and 3-point contests determined by age.
